Heads up — creator sign-up is opening soon. This article describes the creator home screen we've designed: what you'll land on after you sign up, and what each part of it will do. It's a preview of the experience, not a walkthrough of a live product — the home screen and the surfaces below aren't built yet. We'll update it the moment creator sign-up opens.
Once you finish sign-up, you land on your creator home — the screen you'll open every time you come back. It's designed to do one thing: always show you the single next step that moves your earnings forward, so you're never staring at a blank page wondering what to do.
Here's a tour of what each part of your home is designed to show you.
The Top of Your Home: Where You Stand
The first thing you'll see is a friendly welcome and a status pill that tells you exactly where you are in your launch:
- Building · Day 1 — Your team of experts is still assembling your page. Your home shows what's being built and what you can get a head start on now.
- Live · Day 1 — Your page is published. Your home switches to showing your next move and your 90-day launch plan.
Right below that is your next step — the most important thing on the whole screen. It's a single, specific action with the payoff spelled out, like "Share your launch post — it's written in your voice and ready" or "Email your list — your highest-converting channel." Do that one thing, and home updates to the next one.
"Your Team Is Building" (Before You Go Live)
If your page isn't live yet, your home shows your build in progress. While creator sign-up is opening soon, here's what this designed view does:
A team of experts builds your profile — doing the deep research to find your brand voice, your recipes, and your content wherever they live. AI-assisted tools speed the work, but it's the specialists behind them that deliver an agency-grade result, delivered through a human review step where you approve everything before it goes live.
Your home tracks the pieces as they come together:
- Bio & brand voice — being written in your voice
- Your recipes — being organized into collections
- Instagram connected — pulling your recipes in automatically
Your page goes live once your team delivers your first recipes and a weekly plan for you to approve — usually within a week. Nothing publishes without your sign-off.
If Instagram isn't connected yet, your home will tell you so plainly: connecting Instagram is what verifies you own the account and lets your team pull your recipes in, so your build starts once you connect. You can still explore PrepSmart and get a head start in the meantime.
"Finish Your Setup" — Your Checklist
A short checklist keeps the small, high-leverage tasks in front of you so nothing falls through the cracks. You'll see a progress count (like "3 of 5") and tasks such as:
- Add a profile photo — you can do this right away; pages with a photo convert about twice as well
- Connect payouts — set up once, so you're ready before your first $100 lands
- Confirmation checkmarks for everything that's already done (bio, recipes, your diet type)
Each item is one tap, with the reason it matters spelled out next to it.
Your Forecast (An Estimate, Not a Promise)
Once you're set up, your home shows a forecast — an early estimate of where you're headed. It's clearly framed for what it is:
- A floor, not a ceiling. It's an illustrative model based on your following — not a promise or a guarantee.
- It updates with your data. Your real numbers replace the estimate as you go live and grow, typically within the first 30–60 days.
- Milestone-first. Instead of leading with a big aggregate number, it points you at the next real milestone — your first 10 Founding Subscribers, then your first $100.
The forecast is anchored to the suggested monthly price (most creators land around $6.99/month, which works out to roughly $4.89 per subscriber after PrepSmart's share). You set your own price, and your money comes straight to you — your fans pay you, not a middleman app, and you keep the majority of every subscription.
Your 90-Day Launch Plan
The centerpiece of your home is your 90-day launch plan — your guided go-to-market, broken into a clear weekly rhythm. Before you go live it shows as "Unlocks at launch," with a preview of the milestones waiting:
- 10 first subscribers
- $100 first payout
- Your day-90 goal
Once you're live, it opens to Day 1 of 90 and surfaces the specific task for right now — for example, "Days 1–7 · Build awareness — invite your email list, drafted for you." Each step comes with the content ideas and the blueprint to hit your numbers, so you're always executing, never guessing. A "See all tasks" link opens the full plan whenever you want the bigger picture.
Your Strategist Is Right There
Near the bottom of your home, you'll meet Maya, your Growth Strategist (you'll be introduced to yours by name). From day one you have a real person in your corner — one message, no tickets, no transfers.
Your Strategist is part of your team of experts: the client-success point of contact who makes sure the work the specialists do actually lands for you, backed by the team that built your profile and the engine that helps grow it. It's included with PrepSmart for creators — there's no tier to unlock.
The Bottom Nav
Across the bottom of your home you'll find the four places you'll spend your time:
- Home — this screen: your next step, status, and launch plan
- Recipes — your recipes and collections
- Followers — the people following you on PrepSmart (your subscribers live here too)
- Profile — your public page and settings
Grocery stores, appliance brands, and food brands see a home tuned to their world — Shoppers / Owners / Customers instead of Followers, and milestones like bigger baskets or active owners instead of subscribers. The structure is the same; the language fits your business.
