What Happens After You Sign Your Contract
Creator sign-up is opening soon. This article describes the designed creator experience — what signing up as a creator will look like when the creator app opens. It is not a currently-live product.
Congratulations—you're officially a PrepSmart creator! Here's exactly what happens next, day by day.
Day 0: Contract Signed
You've submitted your signed contract. Within hours, we'll send you:
- Onboarding welcome email with your creator dashboard login
- Content collection form asking for links to your existing content (blog, YouTube, Instagram, published cookbook, etc.)
- Brand voice questionnaire to help our Team of Experts understand your exact tone and style
- Logistics link confirming payment method and any tax documentation needed
Your action: Fill out the content collection form and questionnaire. The more detail you provide here, the better our Team of Experts can build your profile.
Days 1–3: Content Analysis
While you're filling out the questionnaire, your Team of Experts — real specialists, with AI-assisted tools to speed the work — is already at work:
- Researching your existing content (blog posts, videos, social media, published works)
- Finding and rebuilding your recipes, ingredients, cooking techniques, and meal ideas
- Capturing your brand voice and teaching style
- Identifying the themes and approaches that define your content
Your action: Nothing yet—just let us work.
Days 4–7: Profile Building
The Team of Experts creates your initial profile with:
- Recipes extracted from your content (3–15 to start, depending on your content volume)
- Meal plans built from recipe combinations
- Content descriptions written in your brand voice
- Category tags and dietary alignment (keto, vegan, quick meals, etc.)
- Profile bio summarizing your approach
You'll receive an email with your first draft profile: "Your PrepSmart Profile is Ready for Review."
Your action: Log into your dashboard and review the created content. This is your chance to:
- ✓ Approve recipes as accurate
- ✗ Flag recipes you want removed or edited
- 🔧 Customize descriptions or tags
- ➕ Add missing recipes or meal plans we might have missed
- ⚠️ Correct any brand voice inconsistencies
Day 7–10: Revisions (If Needed)
If you flagged content for revision or sent us corrections, the Team of Experts incorporates your feedback:
- Removes recipes you don't want featured
- Adjusts descriptions to match your notes
- Updates tags or categories
- Adds any recipes you manually provided
You'll get an updated profile to review. This cycle repeats until you're satisfied.
Your action: Approve or refine again. We want your profile perfect before launch.
Day 10: Profile Approved
Once you've approved your profile, we lock it in and prepare for your Phase 2 launch. You'll receive:
- Launch confirmation email
- 90-Day Launch Accelerator guide with your first week's content schedule
- Subscriber dashboard preview (where your first subscribers will land)
- Analytics dashboard introduction
Your action: Nothing—we're prepping behind the scenes.
Day 14: Phase 2 Begins (90-Day Launch Accelerator)
Your creator channel goes live, and your 90-Day Launch Accelerator officially kicks off. You'll receive:
- Week 1 content schedule (announcement posts, promotion ideas, engagement tactics)
- Your subscriber dashboard (live and ready for first sign-ups)
- Weekly check-in schedule (when our support team will connect with you)
What You Need to Know During This Phase
You're Not Uploading Anything
The Team of Experts does all the heavy lifting. Your job is reviewing, approving, and refining—not manually entering recipes or formatting content. This saves you 10–15 hours of work.
Your Brand Voice is Preserved
The Team of Experts captures how you write, explain recipes, and interact with your audience — real specialists, using AI-assisted tools to move faster. Every description, every meal plan title, every piece of content maintains your authentic voice.
You Can Add More Content Later
The recipes and meal plans we extract in Days 1–7 are just the starting point. As your channel grows, you can continuously add new recipes, update meal plans, and evolve your profile.
Your Profile is Live on Day 14
On launch day, your recipes, meal plans, and profile are immediately available to subscribers. There's no "soft launch"—your channel opens at full capacity.
