What "Claim Your Picks" Means

After you follow at least 3 creators, brands, or stores during setup, PrepSmart shows you Claim Your Picks. Here's the deal:

• You get one free recipe from every creator you follow, right away
• The first recipe is the creator's top-rated pick—their best, most-loved recipe
• You can swap that pick for a different recipe from the same creator if you'd rather start with something else
• Whatever you claim goes straight into your Recipe Box, yours to keep forever

So if you follow four creators, you walk away from setup with four free recipes already saved—no payment, no trial, no catch.

How It Counts Toward Your 3 Free Recipes

Every creator you follow gives you 3 free recipes, kept forever. Claim Your Picks is how you grab the first of those 3.

• The recipe you claim here is 1 of your 3 free recipes from that creator
• You'll find your other 2 free recipes from that creator anytime in Explore or on the creator's profile—claim those whenever you're ready
• All claimed recipes live in your Recipe Box and stay there forever, even if you later unfollow the creator

You never lose a recipe you've claimed. Free means free, for keeps.

Claiming Your Picks, Step by Step

1. During setup, follow at least 3 creators, brands, or stores
2. PrepSmart shows you Claim Your Picks—one free recipe lined up from each creator you followed
3. Each pick starts as that creator's top-rated recipe
4. To keep the suggested pick, just leave it as-is
5. To choose something else, tap the pick and swap it for another recipe from that creator
6. Confirm, and every claimed recipe drops into your Recipe Box

From there, setup builds your first Weekly Plan around the recipes you just claimed—all before you ever see a price.

What If You Follow Fewer Than 3 Creators?

You don't need a long list of creators to start cooking. If you follow fewer than 3 creators, Starter Recipes fills the empty slot.

Starter Recipes is a small, fixed set of free recipes matched to your diet that comes with every account. It counts as one of your 3 follows, so your Food World and your first Weekly Plan are never empty—even if you're just getting started and haven't picked many creators yet. Starter Recipes is always free and never sits behind a paywall.
